Introduction Our client is a hospital hiring for a Medical Director Veterinarian. Located in Lawrenceburg, Indiana-just 15 minutes from downtown Cincinnati-this small animal general practice has been serving the community for over 50 years. The clinic is seeking a compassionate and experienced leader to guide its dedicated team and shape the future of its growing practice. Working Hours / Rota The hospital is open Monday through Thursday from 10 : 00 AM to 6 : 00 PM, and Friday from 8 : 00 AM to 6 : 00 PM. It is closed on Sundays. The Medical Director role is a full-time position offering a consistent schedule and work-life balance. Role Description and Responsibilities The Medical Director will lead the hospital's clinical and operational efforts, overseeing medical protocols, mentoring staff, and ensuring high standards of care. Clinical duties include general practice veterinary care, emergency services, surgery, dentistry, and advanced diagnostics. The role is ideal for an experienced veterinarian who is ready to step into a leadership role while maintaining a hands-on presence in patient care. Practice Details The facility is equipped with digital radiography, ultrasound, an advanced dental suite with digital dental X-rays and high-speed equipment, and comprehensive pain management tools.
