[job_card.job_description]An active CPA certification and 5+ years of recent public accounting experience. Demonstrate experience managing complex tax returns, including real estate and planning engagements. Communicate effectively with clients and team members, both verbally and in writing. Work comfortably in a paperless office environment using cloud-based systems. Show proficiency with QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online, Lacerte, and digital workflow tools. Take ownership of an existing book of business and transition into managing new client relationships. Participate in strategic firm meetings and client visits as needed. Exhibit strong leadership and mentorship skills to support team development. Apply sound judgment and technical expertise to deliver high-quality tax services. Maintain a proactive and client-focused approach to service and relationship management.
Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Tax Supervisor to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $100,000 to $200,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities :
- Manage and develop long-term relationships with clients, particularly in the legal industry.
- Review business and individual tax returns and provide strategic tax planning advice.
- Identify, research, and resolve complex tax issues independently.
- Mentor junior staff and lead internal training and development initiatives.
- Collaborate with partners on business development and firm growth strategies.
