Monitor Technician - North

JOB SUMMARY

The Monitor Technician is responsible for ongoing surveillance of patient cardiac monitors and provides nurses and / or clinicians with immediate notifications of any changes in cardiac rhythms. The Technician assists with maintenance of monitoring equipment through delivery, pick-up, and cleaning of telemetry equipment. Monitor Technicians must possess effective communication skills.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Education

  • High School or equivalent.

Minimum Work Experience

  • No previous experience.

    • Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

  • Ability to handle confidential information.
  • Maintains professional appearance at all times.
