About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Finance to join their team. The successful candidate will be a key partner to senior leadership, leading all financial operations, and driving strategic growth while ensuring financial integrity. Responsibilities for this executive role include leading financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, as well as overseeing accounting, compliance, audits, and internal controls. The VP of Finance will also be involved in managing cash flow, capital planning, and risk management, and will support operational efficiency through cost accounting, margin analysis, and process improvement. Additionally, the role involves evaluating capital projects, pricing, and profitability initiatives, and developing a high-performing finance and accounting team.

Applicants for the Vice President of Finance position at the company should have a Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, with an MBA being preferred. A CPA is strongly preferred, and candidates must have at least 15 years of progressive finance leadership experience, with a minimum of 10 years in food manufacturing or co-packing. The role requires proven P&L and multi-facility management experience, strong knowledge of GAAP, compliance, and food industry regulations, and excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills. ERP experience, particularly with NetSuite or similar systems, is required, and proficiency in Microsoft Office is a must. Being bilingual in Spanish is considered a plus.
