Your main responsibilities

PRIMARY FUNCTION / POSITION OVERVIEW :

This position is responsible for processing all aspects payroll for non-exempt and exempt employees in multiple states.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

• Process payroll for non-exempt weekly and exempt semi-monthly within Global View (GV) to ensure accurate and timely running of all payrolls.
• Ensure attention to detail and accuracy of payroll records, excellent problem solving / judgment skills for various employee inquiries and issues.
• Coordinate and process the Union vacation payout in January and July.
• Coordinate and process the Expat / Inpat pay and yearly updates.
• Process expenses and sends payment to 3rd party vendor.
• Process general ledger entries at the end of each payroll.
• Reconciles payroll-related general ledger and prepares reports or statements summarizing payroll-related accounts. May interface with third-party payroll vendors.
• Inputs changes, which may include changes to employees or employee statuses, exemptions or withholdings, or bank information.
• Handles moderately complex issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
