As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol commercial real estate locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing an approachable presence. This post requires both armed and driving responsibilities. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter unwanted activity, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication, all while upholding our values of teamwork, reliability, and integrity.

What You'll Do

Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial property and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.

Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a visible presence.

Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal policies.

Interact professionally with tenants, visitors, and staff to address concerns and provide assistance as needed.

Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies or incidents in accordance with site protocols and Allied Universal procedures.

Minimum Requirements

A minimum of 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience is required.

An armed guard card or license is required.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
