Presidio Equipment Operator

Title : Equipment Operator

Classification : Non-Exempt

Reports to : Superintendent

Summary :

The Equipment Operator is responsible for operating the motorized equipment and vehicles on the golf course.

Essential job functions :

Operate equipment including, but limited to, trucks, gang mowers, tractor-drawn mowers, mechanical sand rakes, triplex and 5-gang self-contained mowing units

Maintains and makes minor adjustments to equipment

Change cups and tee makers and maintains ball washers, hazard stakes and traffic control rope

Applies pesticides and fertilizer, as needed

Perform Greenskeeper duties, as needed

Walk mow greens.

Assist golf superintendents in monitoring conditions of golf course.

Operates fairways and rough units.

Operates all large tractors
