Duties / Day to Day Overview
Program Execution : Manage a portfolio of 3-4 projects, ensuring timelines, cross-functional dependencies, and deliverables are met.Cross-Functional Coordination : Partner with engineering, QA, business, and product teams to align on objectives and drive execution.Testing & UAT : Oversee testing cycles, UAT coordination, and change management to ensure smooth rollouts.Risk & Issue Management : Identify project risks, engage stakeholders, and drive issue resolution.Project Visibility : Provide clear updates on the project pipeline, milestones, and status reports to leadership.Sprint & Agile Practices : Work with the Scrum Master to facilitate sprint ceremonies and maintain agile best practices.Product Execution : Support Product Managers by ensuring roadmap milestones, backlog execution, and feedback loops are managed effectively.Provide leadership and direction to cross-functional teams by overseeing the progress of programs with regard to time, scope, and quality and budgetEffectively collaborate in a highly matrixed organization and gain the trust of others. This includes building effective partnerships with stakeholders : including the development staff, business owners and senior management, and other program managers.Develop and manage detailed project work plans for assigned programs. May also require building and maintaining higher level program plans that rollup other technical teams detailed project plans.Leverage innovative critical thinking approaches to solve problemsTop Requirements
(Must haves)
Experience in Retail, eCommerce, or Merchandising is highly preferred.Strong program management experience, with the ability to drive multiple projects simultaneously.Excellent interpersonal skills - ability to work with cross-functional teams and drive alignment.Strong problem-solving and risk management skills.Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working with Scrum Masters.Comfortable navigating technical conversations (no direct tech decision-making required).Experience in an MS technology environment is a plus.Good communication-need to have clear spoken and written - articulate / clearReally good follow through, detail orientedComfortable dealing with change of directionIdeal candidates would have experience with Product centric organization, used to working in this set upSomeone come working in retail and / or merchandising space, understand product lead model, speaks product OR someone who come from Tech / Management consulting (that is an Client type company)Built zero to one, product releases, lots of talk of working with product on releases, etc.Experience working with cross functional teams : Engineering, Product UX / UI and QA
