ID : 74424872 Shift : 19 : 00-07 : 00 Description : Collection : Unit Information : HCA Houston Healthcare West Location : Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility Address : Floor : 3rd Building : Main General Information Tell us about the unit(s) : Number of Beds 20 private beds Number of Staff 18 RN FTE (total staff with therapy and nursing is ~60) Type of staff : 1 CNC, 2-3 RNs, 1-2 CNAs for day and night o Day Shift (example 1 charge, 3 RN, 2 CNA, and 1-3 sitters) o Night Shift - same Patient Ratios 5 : 1 on average with sometimes 6 : 1 if short. Type of equipment standard nursing equipment plus rehab equipment for transfers, etc. EMR - Meditech Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for : Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Start / stop IVs, wound care, telemetry, Foley care, and standard Medsurg unit nursing skills are a must Medication pass Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first. Prior Inpatient Rehab Facility or Skilled Nursing Unit experience List typical procedures performed on unit(s) : Mobilization of patients to bathrooms, dressing, out of bed mobility. Daily medication distribution, education on medication reconciliation, nursing care for DC home Best personality Fit : Open to learn rehab, outgoing, energetic, fun REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS : BLS (ACLS preferred), Nursing license Floating Area(s) : Med surg possible Dress Code : Scrub Color / Attire - Royal blue Unit Guidelines / Policies : Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.
