Primary Purpose :
The Senior Registered Nurse (RN) is a licensed professional with a minimum of 2 years of experience. This role involves coordinating patient care delivery focusing on specific health populations, utilizing the nursing process to assess, identify, develop care plans, implement interventions, and evaluate patient responses. As an RN, you will oversee patient transitions through the healthcare system while preventing complications and delays.

Minimum Qualifications :
Education :
Graduate from an accredited nursing program.Experience :
At least two (2) years of RN experience required.Preferred experience in an acute care or Emergency Department setting.Licensure / Certification :
Current valid State of TX RN license or a Compact RN license in good standing.Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.Current TNCC or ATCN certification, with maintenance thereafter.Special Skills and Abilities :
Ability to provide nursing care in accordance with the Texas Nurse Practice Act and established protocols.Effectively assess and consult with the healthcare team while providing patient-centered care.Demonstrated independent judgment and effective communication skills.Experience in supervising and mentoring non-nursing staff.Ability to prepare and conduct educational programs.Responsibilities :
Advocate for patients ensuring their needs, rights, and preferences are prioritized.Maintain current knowledge of nursing regulations and ensure compliance with all standards.Perform assessments and recognize changes in patient conditions, providing timely interventions.Manage a diverse range of patient conditions and provide safe medication administration.Accurately document patient care in compliance with departmental standards.Guide non-nursing staff and participate in staff information exchanges, ensuring departmental goals are met.Serve as a preceptor for new nursing personnel.Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance patient satisfaction.Stay informed about advancements in nursing practice through continued education and professional engagement.Join us in making a difference in our community through quality healthcare!
