Job Description

Diversified Maintenance is hiring an Industrial Cleaner. The Industrial Cleaner performs cleaning related tasks as outlined in the contract between the company and the customer in an Industrial environment. The Industrial Cleaner reports any problems, or suspicious activity to the appropriate supervisor or manager.

SCHEDULE : Monday - Friday 6am-2pm

PAY RATE : $12.00 - $13.00 per hour

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Empty trash and recycling

Clean entire restroom by utilizing disinfectants and bathroom cleaners, restock restroom supplies as needed, remove trash, clean fixtures, mirrors, and dispensers, sweep and / or wet mop floors.\

Clean the plant floor and machinery

Keep closets clean, neat, and orderly

Other duties as assigned, as required by the scope of work or customer needs

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE) :

High school diploma or equivalent, or a minimum of six (6) months of experience in a janitorial type position

On the job training will be provided

Attention to detail

Ability to follow instructions effectively

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE) :

Prior cleaning or janitorial experience

Familiarity with custodial practices and commercial cleaning standards

Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and waxing

Experience in industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance
