Sr. Structural Engineer

Step into a senior leadership role with a globally recognized consulting engineering firm as a Sr. Structural Engineer based in Daphne, AL (Mobile area preferred). Qualifications and responsibilities for this Sr. Structural Engineer position include :

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (ABET-accredited) with a focus on structural coursework
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in Civil / Structural Engineering required
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in heavy equipment or steel structure design and FEA
• Proficient in FEA and drafting software such as FEMAP, Ansys, SolidWorks 3D, RISA, AutoCAD
• Prepare complete structural design packages for container cranes, terminals, and foundation systems
• Perform site inspections, equipment assessments, and technical reviews including dynamic / static analysis
• Lead and manage multidisciplinary projects and oversee engineering standards and execution
• Must be able to travel up to 20% and climb OSHA-compliant structures up to 200 ft

Salary : $110,000 - $150,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
