Engineering Manager

As an  Engineering Manager  at  Westgate Resorts you will be responsible for leading and managing the Engineering Department. With your solid technical knowledge and leadership skills you will help ensure the smooth operation of our facilities maintaining high guest satisfaction standards and promoting continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Execute the strategic vision of the Engineering Department in alignment with overall resort goals and lead major capital projects.
• Provide leadership mentoring and foster a culture of excellence and accountability within the maintenance team.
• Ensure safety by implementing and enforcing protocols conducting regular inspections and addressing hazards.
• Assist in managing departmental budgets including forecasting capital planning and profit & loss reviews.
• Develop manage and optimize maintenance programs procedures and schedules for operational efficiency.
• Oversee vendor contractor and supplier relationships and manage procurement and inventory of tools and materials.
• Utilize Microsoft Office HotSOS and technical documents (e.g. blueprints manuals) to support departmental functions.
• Perform hands-on maintenance tasks use various tools and equipment and maintain professional conduct per resort policies.
