Overview :

We are seeking a Board Certified Gastroenterologist with advanced GI skills (ERCP required; EUS preferred) to provide locum coverage in Pennsylvania. This role supports inpatient GI care during the day with 24 / 7 call responsibilities, working alongside an established locum for shared monthly scheduling.

Assignment Details :

  • Inpatient GI + procedures
  • Monday Friday : GI Lab (8 : 00 AM 4 : 00 PM)
  • Saturday Sunday : Inpatient call + consults
  • Weeknight Call : 4 : 30 PM 8 : 00 AM
  • Weekend Call : Friday 4 : 30 PM Monday 8 : 00 AM
  • patient census going into the weekend
  • 5 7 weekend procedures
  • EMR : Epic
  • Note : Conscious sedation capability strongly preferred. If not, procedures go to OR queue (anesthesia not always available in GI lab).

Requirements :

  • Board Certified in Gastroenterology
  • Active state license or IMLC (PA license strongly preferred)
  • ACLS + BLS required
  • ERCP required; EUS preferred
  • Minimum : 1 week / month commitment
