Campus Monitor- Part-time (4 afternoons per week)
Monday- Thursday 2 : 40pm-5 : 30pm
Location- Cooper City High School and Coral Springs High School

As a Campus Monitor, you will be responsible for assisting the afterschool program by monitoring the school campus and the youth if they are out of direct eye sight of the transition specialist and to support the overall security efforts of the school campus.

What does a Campus Monitor do?
Assisting with transportation needs of the students as they are dropped off or waiting for pick up from parents or paratransit services.Supports the security and safety measures implemented district wide to promote the overall safety of youth on the high school campuses.Ensure the proper level of supervision and care to maintain individuals’ safety and well-beingFollow federal and state laws, as well as School Board policies.What are the requirements?
High School Diploma or GED Required.4 years total work experience, with at least 1 year working with studentsDemonstrated ability to communicate and work effectively with students to analyze situations that relate to student activity and securityBilingual skills preferredComputer skills in such areas as word processing, spreadsheets and visual presentation preferredValid FL driver’s license and successful Level II background check, physical and drug screen.Must be at least 21 years of age.
