Job Description

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations, encompassing comprehensive physical examinations and an in-depth review of medical histories.
• Assist in assessing and diagnosing surgical conditions by interpreting imaging and laboratory results.
• Partner closely with surgeons in formulating and implementing individualized surgical treatment strategies.
• Provide critical intraoperative assistance, including room preparation, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and handing off surgical instruments during surgery.
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care, administering medications, managing wounds, participating in discharge planning, and educating patients.

Education

• Master's degree obtained from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Preferred completion of clinical rotations with a strong surgical focus.

Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant.
