Outside Sales Associate

We are currently seeking motivated candidates to join our client's team as Outside Sales Associates. Our client is a highly respected wholesale distributor in the building materials industry, offering a wide range of high-quality products and equipment to both commercial and residential roofing contractors. With a strategic presence in several markets, our client has solidified its position as a leading distributor in the nation.

As an Outside Sales Associate, you will be responsible for maintaining strong customer relationships, driving product sales, and cultivating new accounts. Your focus will be on promoting and selling a comprehensive product line to meet the needs of contractors and building professionals. By upholding the professional image of our client's organization, you will play a pivotal role in their continued success.

Responsibilities :

  • Utilize various prospecting methods, including cold calling, lead generation, and networking, to acquire new accounts.
  • Exceed predetermined sales goals through active selling efforts.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to retain and expand the existing customer base.
  • Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of clients Building Materials' products and services to effectively advise customers.
  • Foster positive relationships with valued vendors.

Requirements :

  • Proven track record of successful sales in the building materials industry, particularly selling to contractors.
  • Strong customer service skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent proficiency in mathematics.
  • Proficiency in computer skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Possession of a valid and current state-issued driver's license.
