This position is ideal for someone who thrives on organization, has a strong eye for design details, and can work independently in a remote setting while collaborating closely with field teams and clients. You’ll be the bridge between design and construction making sure what’s in the plans is exactly what gets built.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate design selections with clients and ensure all specifications are documented accurately

Prepare and manage finish schedules, fixture lists, and design documentation

Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to confirm availability, lead times, and product details

Track design‑related budgets and flag variances early

Communicate regularly with Project Managers and Site Superintendents to align on execution

Manage change orders related to design adjustments

Maintain organized, up‑to‑date project documentation in Buildertrend or similar platforms

May require quarterly site visits

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in design coordination, project coordination, or a similar role in residential construction

Strong understanding of residential building processes and design terminology

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Proficient with digital tools such as Buildertrend, Materio, or similar project management software

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Ability to work independently in a remote setting while staying connected to a team

Familiarity with sustainable building practices or high‑end residential projects is a plus

Salary & Benefits

Full‑time, remote position

Competitive salary at $55,000 to $65,000 / year, based on experience

4 weeks of paid vacation annually
