We are looking for a seasoned, practical Paralegal who will be responsible in responding to subpoenas and similar requests; assisting in document gathering and preservation projects; recording and reporting subpoena-related expenses; managing and negotiating resolutions to minor disputes with customers, vendors, and other third parties; and assisting with contract review and negotiation.

Required :

Experience in : Responding to discovery requests, civil investigation demands, and subpoenas;

Gathering, compiling, and working with voluminous written and electronic data and documents, particularly in e-discovery;

Making, finding, and retrieving court filings; and

Using electronic data search tools and databases.

Strong reading comprehension abilities and organizational skills.

Oral advocacy and negotiating abilities.

Ability to review and revise simple legal documents, such as settlement agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and protective or scheduling orders.

Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel and Adobe Acrobat.

Experience managing calendars, deadlines, correspondence, and files.

Experience with e-discovery tools.

Qualifications :

Associate degree or higher.

Three or more years' experience at a law firm or in-house legal department, with some experience working on litigation.

Huge Pluses :

Strong problem-solving skills.

Enjoys working on litigation and dispute resolutions.

Assumes ownership of projects and pushes them through completion.

If you are hired in Denver, the compensation range for this position is between $65,000 and $121,550 for full-time employees, in addition to eligibility for variable pay, equity, and benefits.
