Lulla, the restaurant at Motto Chelsea is looking to add vibrant hosts to our team. Lulla is an Italian-inspired restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. This is a role for outgoing people who want to engage with interesting guests and team members alike. The host position is responsible for the following tasks :

  • Welcoming and seating guests with detailed explanations about our restaurant and ordering systems.
  • Helping management plan the shift by arranging the seating for upcoming reservations.
  • Reaching out to confirm reservations.
  • Helping keep our spaces clean and welcoming to ensure new guests enjoy a warm environment.
  • Supporting servers and bartenders by sharing knowledge of the tables.
  • Setting up the floor with the team & / or breaking it down and the end of the shift.
  • Menu cleanliness.

This role offers an opportunity to grow as you will be inundated with information about the roles around you. Hosting is a fantastic way to grow into a server, bartender, or manager depending on your professional goals.

  • Experience is not required, as common sense, kindness, and training are the key to this job.
  • PM availability is a must.
  • Egos need not apply.
