Day Program Assistant

MENTOR Adult Day Health, a member of the Sevita family, provides day programs for elders with complex medical or rehabilitative needs. This allows seniors to obtain quality healthcare while remaining active and involved in the community and continuing to live in their own homes. Our programs are staffed with qualified, experienced licensed nurses and caregivers who are trained to provide individual assistance to each person we serve.

Location : Living Well Adult Day, West Boylston, MA

Schedule : Monday–Friday, Day Shift

Pay Rate : $16 / hour

Would you like to work in a rewarding environment with a supportive team? Join us at Living Well Adult Day and help provide meaningful care and activities for the individuals we serve in our community-based Day Program.

What You’ll Do :

Support daily care needs for older adults and individuals with brain injuries, intellectual / developmental disabilities, or behavioral / mental health diagnoses

Assist with group and individual activities, promoting socialization, safety, and well-being

Help with daily living needs including hygiene, meals, bathroom assistance, and medication administration

Encourage independence through social skills, advocacy, and self-esteem building

Provide transportation to appointments, errands, and community activities

Qualifications :

High school diploma or equivalent; must be 18+

At least 1 year of experience supporting individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities (experience with older adults preferred)

CPR and First Aid certification preferred

Strong communication, reliability, and compassion

• Bilingual in Spanish preferred
