About the Role :

Join CBRE as a Mobile HVAC Service Technician to provide essential support for various hospital sites in the Charlotte region. We are looking for dedicated professionals who are ready to travel and make a significant impact with their technical expertise.

In this role, you will be responsible for addressing equipment issues, conducting preventive and emergency maintenance, and accurately documenting your work in a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). Candidates should possess at least 4 years of hands-on commercial HVAC experience and have strong problem-solving skills while being physically fit to manage a dynamic workload.

What You'll Do :

  • Conduct inspections and ongoing maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure compliance with all codes and safety standards.
  • Diagnose equipment failures and implement appropriate solutions for modifications and repairs.
  • Perform repairs, both emergency and preventive, while keeping thorough maintenance records.
  • Drive company vehicles to reach various job sites as part of your daily responsibilities.
  • Utilize your expertise to effectively manage tasks and resolve non-routine problems.
  • Mentor fellow team members by sharing your HVAC knowledge and aligning with CBRE's core values.
  • Foster collaboration within the team to ensure high-quality task execution and effectively communicate technical information to everyone involved.

What You'll Need :

  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma along with 4-5 years of related experience.
  • A valid driver's license and EPA Universal certification preferred.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting over 50 lbs, climbing, standing, and walking.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and experience using CMMS.
  • Strong math skills for performing basic calculations such as percentages and fractions.
