Proficiency in : .NET and ASP.NET, C#, SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML Power Platform tools including Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Report Builder Microsoft 365 tools including SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and Access Webflow, Umbraco, Nintex, Dreamweaver, Photoshop Azure, Azure OpenAI / Copilot, AWS, Cloudflare, Cloudinary Strong understanding of relational databases, stored procedures, triggers, data modeling, and performance tuning. Knowledge of object-oriented concepts, UML, multi-tier architecture, data warehousing, ETL processes, and BI dashboards. Ability to test, debug, and deploy web-based and database-driven applications. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently or in a team environment. Experience with reporting tools, BI integrations, and workflow platforms. Highly organized with strong attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Valid California driver's license. Must be authorized to work in the United States. No H1B sponsorship and not eligible for CalPERS membership.
IT Software Developer III
Location : Downtown Los Angeles, CA (Union Station Area)
Schedule : Hybrid, Monday-Friday, 7 : 00 a.m.-4 : 45 p.m. with alternating Fridays off (2 days onsite)
Duration : Up to 6 months
Pay Rate : $53-$57 per hour
Position Overview
A public sector agency in the Los Angeles area is seeking a temporary IT Software Developer III . The developer will support the design, development, and maintenance of internal and external websites, reports, forms, workflows, and web artifacts.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience with .NET, Azure, Azure OpenAI / Copilot, SQL, Power Platform, and modern web development tools . Experience working with content management systems such as Umbraco , and with cloud services such as AWS and Cloudflare , is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications, reports, forms, and workflows for internal and external use.
- Manage and enhance website content using Umbraco CMS , ensuring accessibility, quality, and consistency.
- Develop and maintain database-driven applications using SQL, Oracle, and ASP.NET .
- Integrate and optimize systems using Azure OpenAI / Copilot , AWS , Cloudflare , and related services.
- Build and deploy business intelligence and automation solutions using Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Report Builder .
- Collaborate with technical and functional teams to plan, coordinate, and deliver projects within scope, schedule, and budget.
- Develop and maintain web components using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, SharePoint, Webflow, Nintex , and other tools.
- Utilize design tools such as Dreamweaver and Photoshop to create and maintain visually consistent and user-friendly pages.
- Support data reporting, dashboard development, and workflow optimization across the organization.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and apply best practices to enterprise web development.
