Komline is seeking an experienced Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager to join our team. The EHS Manager, in conjunction with the EHS Director and Operations Manager, is responsible for assisting in developing, implementing, and maintaining programs and procedures ensuring compliance with all environmental, health, and safety regulations.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Routinely conduct regular site inspections and assessments to identify hazards albeit in the plant or on equipment operations. Recommend corrective action to the Operations and Plant managers and verify their completion
• In conjunction with Corporate EHS and HR, assist in delivering online or classroom safety training classes ensuring all affected employees have performed timely completions
• Conduct and document job safety analysis (JSA’s), risk assessments, and incident investigations. React to ladder promptly and effectively as needed and required
• Oversee and manage sites Safety committee teams and corrective actions
• Lead investigations of accidents / incidents, near misses, return to work programs
• Promote contagious improvement through the facility utilizing 6S strategies initiatives
• Develop and maintain emergency prespun plans and coordination drills
• Assist in the manage electronic Eco Vadis program for site and Bowling Green
• Track and report environmental performance metrics (e.g., air, water, and waste)
• Deliver EHS training systems through companywide Learning Management System (LMS)
• React and response effectively and expeditiously to all employee concerns as they pertain to safety or related issues
