The Opportunity

The Facilities Engineer will oversee all aspects of our building systems and services, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and productive environment for all employees. This hands-on role requires a blend of technical expertise,hands on work ethic, project management skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities :

• Building Systems Maintenance : Perform as well as oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems, including HVAC, lighting, and fire protection.
• Preventive Maintenance : Develop and implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance program to minimize downtime and ensure the longevity of all facility equipment.
• Project Management : Perform and Manage facility-related projects, including renovations, equipment upgrades, and office reconfigurations, from conception to completion. This includes budgeting, scheduling, and overseeing contractors.
• Safety and Compliance : Ensure all facilities adhere to local, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA, EPA, and building codes. Conduct regular safety inspections and drills.
• Vendor and Contractor Management : Solicit bids, negotiate contracts, and manage the work of external vendors and contractors to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Energy Management : Identify and implement energy-saving initiatives to reduce operational costs and promote sustainability.
• Emergency Response : Serve as a key point of contact for facility-related emergencies and develop and maintain emergency response plans.
• Space Planning : Assist with space planning and office moves to accommodate the changing needs of the organization.
