IMS Mainframe System Programmer

Kavaliro is seeking an IMS Mainframe System Programmer to support a client in Jacksonville, Florida.

Job Responsibilities

• Experience working within an IMS Database environment. Familiarity with mainframe functional areas such as z / OS Operating System, Storage, Databases, CICS, and Disaster Recovery concepts.
• Experience in IMS V15.5 or Later upgrade with SMP / E
• Experience in ISV products include, but are not limited to CA database tools, IBM database tools, Sysview, Omegamon, and Mainview.
• Experience in IMS Database Objects, Logical Unit definitions, and IMS Commands.
• Expert in IMS configuration like SYSGEN, PSBGEN, Subsystem configuration.
• Will serve as primary technical contact for the mainframe Database for one or more clients during transition.
