Overview :

We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our finance team in a dynamic CPG environment. This role supports day-to-day accounting activities, month-end close, and financial reporting while ensuring accuracy and compliance in a high-volume, product-driven business.

Key Responsibilities :

Prepare and post journal entries and account reconciliations

Assist with month-end and year-end close processes

Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including inventory and COGS

Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes

Assist with sales and use tax filings and other compliance requirements

Help analyze variances in operating expenses and product costs

Collaborate with supply chain and operations teams for financial accuracy

Support internal and external audits as needed

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

1-3 years of accounting experience (internship or CPG industry experience a plus)

Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles

Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks)

Proficiency in Excel and financial analysis

Attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
