Job Description : Overview :

The  Loss Prevention Specialist  plays a key role in protecting the assets of the Distribution Center, with focus in the following areas : operational shrink control, internal investigations, safety, and shortage root cause analysis. This position will work a variety of ever-changing assignments within the department to include roles designed to monitor warehouse access control, gatehouse and distribution control, operations auditing, and internal investigations. Will take direction from a Lead Specialist and reports to the Loss Prevention Supervisor.

Responsibilities :

• Provide protection of all company assets including people, property, and information
• Conduct theft investigations including surveillance via CCTV and covert equipment
• Transact, audit and support operational team with trailer yard activities
• Monitor alarm systems, building access, and fire and life safety regulations
• Monitors access control to facility and inbound / outbound freight flow
• Serve as a business partner in operational processes and inventory to reduce shrink
• Ability to handle confidential information

• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
• Action driven, and results oriented
• Demonstrated ability to work well in a fast-paced and multi-tasking environment

Monday-Thursday 6 : 00pm – 4 : 30am
