Gastroenterologist- Hackensack

A health services network in New Jersey is currently seeking a licensed Gastroenterologist to join one of their facilities in Monmouth County. In this role, the Gastroenterologist will be responsible for focusing on providing advanced GI care in a hospitalist setting.

About the Opportunity :

• Shift : Days
• Schedule : Flexible (Weekdays)
• Hours : 7am to 5pm
• Caseload : 25 to 35 patients daily

Responsibilities :

Performing GI procedures, including EGD and colonoscopy

Providing weekday and weekend hospitalist coverage

Coordinating with advanced practice providers (APP) for patient care

Participating in an equitable call schedule with overnight pager coverage on weekends

Performing other duties, as needed

Qualifications :

M.D., D.O.

Valid CDS and DEA certification

Proficiency in GI procedures (EGD, colonoscopy)

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Ability to handle a high-volume caseload

Desired Skills

Experience in an Inpatient Hospitalist and / or Gastrointestinal role / setting

Familiarity with advanced GI practices

Flexible and adaptable to various scheduling needs
