Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Operations & Quality Manager to lead daily manufacturing operations while owning the company's ISO 9001 and AS9100 Quality Management Systems. This role is critical to ensuring efficient production, strict quality compliance, and technical excellence in thin film and PVD coating processes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of thin film coating materials and applications (e.g. TiN and MoS₂) and how process variables impact coating performance, inspection results, and customer requirements-particularly within aerospace and high-precision manufacturing environments.

Description :

Operations Management

Oversee day-to-day production operations, scheduling, and workflow to meet delivery and throughput goals

Coordinate with engineering, sales, and production teams to prioritize jobs and resolve capacity constraints

Ensure proper execution of coating processes involving TiN and MoS₂ and similar thin film materials

Optimize processes to improve efficiency and control costs

Ensure equipment readiness, maintenance coordination, and compliance with safety requirements

Monitor KPIs related to productivity, delivery, and operational performance

Quality Management

Own and maintain the ISO 9001 and AS9100 Quality Management Systems

Ensure compliance with customer specifications, internal procedures, and all ISO 9001 and AS9100 requirements

Prepare for, lead, and support internal audits, customer audits, and third-party certification audits

Oversee inspections, testing, certifications, and documentation

Investigate nonconformances, lead root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions

Serve as the primary quality contact for customers and suppliers

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, quality management, or a combined role

Strong understanding of quality systems and process controls

Experience in surface engineering, thin film coatings, or aerospace manufacturing preferred

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and standards

Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

ISO 9001 / AS9100 experience (certifications a plus)

Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience

Familiarity with root cause analysis, and audit preparation

Prior experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment
