Responsibilities

Peraton is looking for an experienced User Interface / User Experience (UI / UX) Developer to join our mission of creating Decision Advantage for the United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM).

Location : Scott Air Force Base IL

Role & Responsibilities :

• This is a unique opportunity to make a direct impact on the way the Department of War projects and sustains its forces around the world.
• In this role you will develop dashboards user interfaces maps and other visualizations to transform data into actional information to provide leaders with time space and options in decision making.
• You will work to modernize the way USTRANSCOM operates and transform the command into a data-driven enterprise.
• Design and develop intuitive user interfaces to optimize the overall user experience.
• Create actionable and user-friendly dashboards maps and visualizations to help users consume information and make decisions.
• Work with data scientists and end users to refine usability and interface workflows.
• Advance the mission by connecting customers and their challenges with UI / UX solutions.
• Think creatively and challenge the state-of-the-art.
• Challenge and support teammates. Share ideas. Win together.
• Continuously improve the accuracy speed and efficacy of existing tools.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships to support USTRANSCOM.

Target Salary Range

$86000 - $138000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position the individuals experience education knowledge skills and competencies as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position employees may be eligible for overtime shift differential and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
