JOB HIGHLIGHTS Health Care Director Specialist

We are looking for an outstanding individual to support a region's nursing operations, depending on staffing and coverage needs. As a Health Care Director Specialist, you will make a difference in the lives of residents by ensuring they receive excellent care.

Responsibilities Health Care Director Specialist

  • Monitoring medication management
  • Performing resident assessments
  • Providing leadership and guidance on health issues
  • Providing onsite medical care
  • Communicating changing medical needs to the team and family members
  • Championing high quality infection control
  • Verifying physician orders & move-in / move-out information
  • Supervising the ordering, delivery, transcription and documentation of medication, treatments and orders under their authority

    • Requirements

    Requirements Health Care Director Specialist

  • Required : Current nursing license in the state and has
  • Required : Previous supervisory experience which includes management, coaching and health care services.
  • Required : The ability to travel to different locations in a region, some to require overnight stays depending on where the associate resides
  • Required : prior experience as a RN or LPN / LVN
  • Required : Require ability to read, speak, and write English clearly
  • Prefered : prior experience in supervising direct care staff
