Description

Summary : Consistent with the Christian mission and vision of the YMCA of Middle Tennessee, and in cooperation with other YMCA staff, the Volunteer will assist the staff in Wellness and Welcome Center Duties. The volunteer will help to plan special events in coordination with the Family Services and Wellness departments.

Duties and Responsibilities :

Model the YMCA core values : Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility

Assist with greeting members at the Welcome Center

Assist Wellness staff with cleaning, putting back equipment and filling bottles.

Assist with cleaning in welcome center and other areas of the Y

Help to plan, market, and execute Family Services and Wellness events

Develop a rapport with our Y members

Evaluate potential grant opportunities in the center

Maintain positive relationships with YMCA staff, members, and volunteers

Qualifications

Job Requirements :

Education / Experience Required :

Minimum 18 years of age

Certifications Required :

Satisfactory Background Check and References
