Sora Investors

Sora Investors is a fundamental equity investment manager specializing in global technology markets. Since founding in September 2021, the firm has grown to manage over $3.5 billion GMV for investors.

Role

The analyst will diligence public equities investments with a focused universe.She / he will receive mentorship to develop into a primary risk-taker with proven competence and contribution. Analysts are the alpha engine driving our strategy and business and this role has potential for unbounded impact and compensation.

Start date ASAP.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with a PM on developing investment ideas
  • Develop and maintain detailed company financial models with a focus on the KPI's driving value
  • Conduct primary research and review public filings
  • Develop long-term relationships through dialog with management teams of corporate issuers
  • Contribute alpha generating investment ideas to the portfolio

Qualifications

  • Passion for investing
  • Intellectual curiosity
  • Financial modeling experience (likely developed in a prior hedge fund, equity research, investment banking, private equity or long-only buyside role)
  • Prior long / short public equity experience could be helpful, but not required
  • Evidence of academic success
