Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Resource Management
- Support the Nurse Manager in daily operations and unit leadership.
- Serve as a resource for staff, charge nurses, and clinical teams.
- Assist with staffing, scheduling, and ensuring continuity of care delivery.
- Participate in budgeting, fiscal management, and lean process improvements.
- Promote staff recruitment, retention, and workforce planning.
- Teamwork & Collaboration
- Communicate effectively with a diverse team; foster a culture of teamwork.
- Hold staff accountable for performance standards and practice expectations.
- Support a safe, healthy, and inclusive work environment.
- Collaborate with physicians, leaders, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
- Clinical Excellence & Outcomes
- Promote competency in clinical care and ensure high-quality perinatal care delivery.
- Maintain and model the highest professional, ethical, and regulatory standards.
- Participate in change management, performance improvement, and unit-based projects.
- Advocate for patient-centered care and uphold client mission and values.

- Engage in ongoing development to strengthen managerial knowledge and leadership skills.

- Evidence-Based Practice & Research
- Support evidence-based practice, nursing research, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for improvement in clinical systems and staff performance.
- Use data and evidence to inform operational and clinical decisions, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience :
Active RN license (Single-State GA or Multi-State Compact).Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing required.BLS certification required.Strong leadership capability , with interest in progressive nurse management roles.Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal relationship-building skills.Ability to coach, mentor, and support nursing staff.Demonstrated ability to use data, metrics, and technology to drive decision-making.Knowledge or desire to learn healthcare financing, staffing, budgeting, operations , and resource management.Understanding of risk management, safety, accreditation, and regulatory standardsCommitment to shared governance , evidence-based care, quality improvement, and patient safety.Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma requiredBachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferredLicensure & Certifications (required upon hire) :Active RN License (Single-State or Compact)BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)Minimum 3 years of clinical nursing experienceAbility to work night shift (for this specific role)Ability to deliver individualized care in a fast-paced acute care environmentCommitment to client care standards, safety policies, and code of conductOur client is a leading Healthcare Industry, and we are currently interviewing to fill this and other similar fulltime positions.
