Deliver direct patient care utilizing the nursing process—assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs and responses. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians or standard care protocols. Monitor and document patient status, progress, and any changes in condition. Collaborate with physicians, allied health professionals, and families to ensure comprehensive patient care. Provide patient and family education regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and discharge instructions. Supervise and delegate tasks to LPNs and unlicensed assistive personnel as appropriate. Ensure adherence to all safety, infection control, and patient privacy standards. Participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives and maintain professional development. Must successfully pass the Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia (BCA) test administered onsite before starting the assignment (one retest opportunity available). Floating between departments and / or local facilities within 20 miles may be required
