Shift Hours : 6 : 30 AM – 5 : 00 PM (10.5 hours), or 4 - 10 hours shifts, flexible options available

Pay Rate : $49–$52 / hr

In this vital role, you will coordinate and oversee the operating room environment, ensuring patient safety, maintaining sterile techniques, and promoting smooth surgical workflows. Your proactive approach, clinical expertise, and meticulous attention to detail will support a high-performing surgical team committed to improving patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities

• Act as the central coordinator of perioperative care throughout orthopedic surgical procedures.
• Prepare the operating room by ensuring all instruments, supplies, and equipment are sterile, functioning, and ready for use.
• Circulate orthopedic cases, promptly providing surgeons with required tools while maintaining strict aseptic technique. Specialties include ortho, ophthalmology, plastics, podiatry, and general.
• Continuously monitor patient vitals and communicate any changes to the surgical team.
• Document perioperative activities accurately in electronic health record systems (Epic, Cerner).
• Maintain compliance with infection control standards, sterile field protocols, and OSHA guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with anesthesia providers, surgeons, and OR staff to ensure seamless workflow.
• Handle and label specimens according to regulatory and laboratory standards.
• Assist with patient positioning, prepping, draping, and wound care throughout procedures.
• Support emergency responses within the OR when needed.
• Participate in quality and safety initiatives aimed at improving perioperative performance and patient satisfaction.
