We are currently hiring a Laundry Aide to support our facility by ensuring residents have clean, fresh linens and clothing each day.

Position: Laundry Aide
Location: Willow Valley Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation

What You’ll Do:

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute laundry for residents and facility use.

• Label and organize personal clothing items to ensure they are returned properly.

• Operate washers and dryers according to safety and sanitation standards.

• Monitor inventory of linens and laundry supplies and report shortages or needed repairs.

• Follow infection control procedures, including proper handling of soiled or contaminated items.

• Maintain a clean and organized laundry room environment.

• Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisor.

• Treat all residents’ belongings with care, professionalism, and respect.

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED preferred, or equivalent work experience.

• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English.

• Prior laundry or housekeeping experience in healthcare or hospitality is a plus, but not required.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Respectful and compassionate attitude toward residents and co-workers.

• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform repetitive motions (folding, lifting, pushing carts).
