What You’ll Bring to the Table:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience within a specialty pharmacy, particularly in oncology or infusing therapies.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Georgia.
- Hands-on experience with hazardous drug compounding, demonstrating precision and safety.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with pharmacy management systems.
- Knowledge of sterile and non-sterile compounding procedures.
- Familiarity with federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT or equivalent).
- At least 2 years of experience in a specialty or infusion setting.
- Prior experience in a cancer or infusion center environment.
Other Requirements:
- No local candidates; this position is scheduled from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
- Willingness to work in Georgia Cancer Specialist CenterPoint Infusion located at 1100 Johnson Ferry Road, Suite 600, Atlanta, GA 30342.
- General availability for a 13-week assignment.
- Must adhere to all safety protocols, especially regarding hazardous drug handling.
- Willingness to travel or receive reimbursements if applicable.
