Patient Access Representative

A company is looking for a Patient Access Representative.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service and compassion

Facilitate patient entrance processes including scheduling, registration, benefit verification, and financial clearance

Ensure accurate patient data is collected and entered into the patient record

Required Qualifications

1-3 years of clerical experience preferred

Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance plans preferred

High school diploma required; some college education is helpful

Proficient in using various computer systems and a 10-key calculator

Strong organizational skills and ability to work under stress while meeting deadlines
