NHS Highland is seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to join our Drug & Alcohol Recovery Service within HMP Inverness. This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a dynamic, multidisciplinary team delivering high‑quality, person‑centred care to individuals in custody with complex substance use and associated health needs.
The successful candidate will provide advanced clinical assessment, diagnosis, and evidence‑based interventions, supporting safe and effective recovery‑focused care pathways within the prison healthcare environment.
We also welcome applications from suitably experienced registered nurses who hold V300 Non‑Medical Prescribing and wish to progress through a structured ANP training pathway (Annex 21). A development plan will be tailored to meet the requirements of the NHS Highland ANP Competency Framework.
