The Opportunity:

As a Senior Technical Traine r, you will participate and conduct technical training programs on the application, installation, and service of LG air conditioning products. You will work in conjunction with and under the direction of the National Training Manager, as well as 4 other Senior Technical Training Academy Managers in CA, GA, NJ, and TX to develop, update and improve the training curriculum. You will also design laboratory exercises. Lecture classes on safety, installation, commissioning, service and maintenance and repair of LG Air Conditioning equipment, following outlines, handouts, and texts.

In addition, you will administer written and practical exams and write performance reports to evaluate trainees' performance as required. You will be familiar with a variety of technical concepts, practices, and procedures related to VRF and ductless products. The Senior Technical Trainer will rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, perform a variety of complicated tasks. You will also manage all activities related to the efficient operation of the Westborough, MA Training Academy including managing expenses, setting training schedules, and maintaining appropriate levels of training materials, software, equipment, controls, and refreshments for Academy students.

What You’ll Do:

• Conduct technical training courses on LG Air Conditioning Products in the LG academy• Conduct Technical training courses on LG Air Conditioning products at Associate Academies or other onsite locations as directed by National Training Manager• Assist with management of LG Associate Academies as required per direction of National Training manager• Develop training material for technical courses on LG Air Conditioning Products• Maintain and update curriculum, PowerPoint presentations etc. to insure most current content• Maintain level of training materials, software, refreshments etc. to accommodate scheduled training courses• Evaluate and maintain training lab equipment to insure most current equipment and proper operation• Develop and publish training schedule a minimum of 6 weeks before start of new quarter• Perform product testing in lab environment as requested• Assist with phone or email technical support of LG product as directed by National Training manager• Communicate with customer technical staff on LG product related technical questions• Inspect problem air conditioning field applications as requested• Assist with job site commissioning of new projects• All other duties as assigned

Desired Qualifications:

• High School/GED required with advanced and progressive skills in technical training on residential, light commercial and/or heavy commercial air conditioning products. Including experience of Inverter Driven Compressor/Inverter Systems experience required. HVAC training preferred.• HVAC sciences plus 5 years of practical field experience in the installation and troubleshooting of HVAC equipment preferred.• Must have excellent communication and written skills, including presentation skills.• Demonstrated working proficiency of Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word.• Must also be comfortable and proficient in handling details and documenting business activities.• VRF experience preferred

Base Salary $110,000-$135,000In addition to the above, we believe that pay transparency is a key part of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Our salary ranges take into account many factors in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skillset, experience, licensure, certifications, internal equity, and other business needs. We consider geographic pay differentials in final offers.
