[job_card.job_description]Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, participating in emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment. Observe and report any suspicious activities, hazards, or unusual occurrences to the appropriate personnel. Follow all instructions from supervisors and adhere to protocols established for utility sites. Maintain accurate and detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and interactions while on patrol. Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with access control procedures and respond to inquiries in a professional manner. A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located. At least one year of security-related experience is required. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

As a Security Officer - Utilities Patrol Driver in Chico, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout utility locations, maintaining a visible presence, and engaging with individuals on-site. This is a driving post, so you will regularly operate a vehicle to monitor designated areas and respond to situations as needed. You will also provide outstanding customer service and clear communication, supporting a welcoming atmosphere while upholding our core values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.
