This position is 3rd shift 11pm-7 : 30am M-F

Summary :

  • Responsible for operating production machinery in accordance with company quality procedures and standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Operates production equipment to produce products in accordance with production needs.

2. Produces assigned products in accordance with verbal and written instructions.

3. Inspects parts and documents findings on appropriate paperwork as needed.

4. Maintains work areas in a clean, orderly and safe manner to include returning tools to designated areas.

5. Operates shop equipment and machinery in accordance with safety requirements.

6. Notifies management of product discrepancies, equipment malfunctions and / or personal injuries.

7. Wears personal protective equipment in accordance with training guidelines. 8. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills :

Basic Language Skills :

  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations, to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Basic Mathematical Skills : Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

    • Intermediate Reasoning Skills :

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

    • Education / Experience :

  • No degree required. Prior work related experience helpful.

    • Physical Demands :

  • Requires constant movement in a variety of activities. Must be able to occasionally lift and / or move up to 35 pounds.

    • Vision Requirements :

  • Close Vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less).

    • You should be proficient in :

  • G-Code
  • M-Code
  • Blueprint Reading
  • PLC Troubleshooting Skills
  • Creating Preventive Maintenance Plans

    • Machines & technologies you'll use :

  • CNC Mill (3-4 axis VMC)
  • CNC Lathe (2-4 axis)
  • Calipers and Micrometers
  • CNC Mill (5+ axis VMC)
  • CNC Lathe (5+ axis) (Doosan)
  • Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) (Fanuc)
  • Conveyor Systems
  • CNC Swiss Lathe (Star)
