About the Role :

The Accounting Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial integrity and operational efficiency of the accounting department within the Information and Media Services industry. This position is responsible for managing the full cycle of accounting activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with accounting principles and regulatory standards. The Accounting Manager will lead efforts in bank reconciliations, job costing, and cost accounting to provide insightful financial analysis that supports strategic decision-making. By supervising the general ledger and balance sheet processes, this role ensures that all financial data is precise and timely, facilitating effective budget management and forecasting. Ultimately, the Accounting Manager will contribute to the financial health and sustainability of the organization by driving best practices in accounting systems and internal controls.

Minimum Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP) and full cycle accounting processes.
• Proficiency in accounting systems and software relevant to the Information and Media Services industry.
• Demonstrated experience with bank reconciliations, general ledger management, and balance sheet analysis.

Job costing and cost accounting skills are applied to monitor project expenses and assess profitability, providing critical insights for financial planning. A deep understanding of accounting principles and full cycle accounting enables the manager to oversee month-end and year-end closing activities with precision. Additionally, strong analytical and leadership skills are employed to interpret financial data, guide the accounting team, and support strategic business decisions within the dynamic Information and Media Services industry.
