1st Shift CMM Programmer

The CMM Programmer is responsible for programming coordinate measurement machines (CMM) . Candidates need to be able to analyze drawings, sketches and design data of parts, as well as identify tooling and fixtures – if necessary. Need to be able to writes instructions, and generate in-process inspection sheets to guide setup and operation of CMM. Requires experience using PC-DMIS and must have the ability to program from engineering models as well as from drawings.

Qualifications :

• Prefer five years’ experience in machining
• Must be able to read and interpret detail prints
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Must be proficient in use of GD&T
• Must be familiar with three, four and five axis milling
• Prefer three years’ experience inspecting aerospace parts
• Must be proficient using models to write programs
• Must have five years recent experience programming with PC-DMIS
• Ability to multi-task
• Candidates need to be dependable and motivated
