UCHealth Memorial is looking to add 1 Locum provider to cover 1-2 long weekends per month (preferably Thursday through Monday 7a to 7a)!As soon as credentialed - ongoing 24 hour coverage, 7a-7aFacility prefers Thursday through Monday 7a to 7a, but will accept a provider who can work Friday through Monday 7a to 7a.Hospital basedReason for coverage: change in staffing and building out provider poolLevel 1 traumaOver 100,000 annual ER volumeEMR: Epic12 ORs6 Neurosurgeons in practicePatient demographic: 17 and aboveAdult and trauma Neurosurgery cases, tumor removal, brain bleed stoppage, trauma repair, shunt insertion or revision, cranial burr holes, intracranial pressure monitor or insertion of, intracranial hemorrhage, traumatic brain injury, neurocritical conditions, ventricular taps, ventriculoperitoneal shunt/taps/reprogramming, ventriculostomy,diskectomy, laminectomy, spinal fusion, spine stabilization and reconstruction, placement of arterial and venous access, administration of vasoactive or sedating substances, lumbar puncture, placement of lumbar drains, CSF sampling from shunts or external ventricular drains, EEG interpretation, management and interpretation of ICP and CCP data, external ventricular drain management, application and management of hypothermia90 day credentialing timeframeTravel Reimbursement:Must send provider flights and lodging info 4 weeks before start.
