(EHS) Environmental Health & Safety Coordinator

  • Rate : 60.00 / hr. W2 Only
  • Contract Length : 6 + month contract to (hire + multi-extension capability
  • Location Expectations : Plano, TX - Onsite with nationwide travel
  • Ability for Conversion & Extension : YES

Summary

This position is for an Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Coordinator who will provide leadership and management for EHS programs across our US sites. This role focuses heavily on accident reduction, implementing effective safety plans, and conducting risk assessments.

Required Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Occupational or Environmental Health and Safety, or a related discipline. Relevant work experience may supplement education.
  • 5+ years of experience working within the EHS field, specifically supporting accident reduction initiatives, safety plan implementations, and risk assessments.

    • Top Skills & Qualifications

  • Certifications : EHS Professional Certifications (CSP, CIH, CEM, Hazmat Certs, or similar) are highly desired, or a candidate must be actively working towards obtaining a certification.
  • Program Management : Proven track record of successfully completing safety projects, implementing programs, and ensuring their long-term effectiveness.
  • Regulatory Knowledge : Strong familiarity with OSHA requirements and guidelines and the practical ability to implement compliant EHS programs.

    • Additional Information

    This is a role that requires both a strong in-office presence in the DFW area and the ability to travel to manage EHS across multiple SEA sites in the United States.
