Must reside in New Jersey (Hybrid 2 days onsite in Berkley Heights, NJ) | Full-Time | Management Level

MUST BE / NO EXCEPTIONS a licensed Customs Broker with a deep understanding of ocean freight and customs compliance? Do you thrive in leading experienced teams and solving complex import challenges? What You'll Do :

• Lead and mentor a department of 9 seasoned professionals.
• Oversee all day-to-day import operations and ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Act as the primary liaison between customers, carriers, truckers, terminals, and U.S. Customs.
• Advise importers on tariff rates, rules, and regulations, including IEEPA tariffs.
• Monitor shipping trends and provide strategic, cost-effective routing options.
• Manage billing, resolve disputes, and oversee ACH payment setup.
• Address customer issues with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
• Handle personnel management including scheduling, vacation planning, and remote work coordination.
• Step in hands-on when needed to support entries or delivery orders.
