Key Responsibilities of the Travel Radiation Therapist

  • Administer accurate radiation treatments to patients as prescribed by a radiation oncologist
  • Operate linear accelerators and other radiation therapy equipment
  • Monitor patient responses and provide support during procedures
  • Ensure precise setup and alignment of treatment fields
  • Maintain detailed treatment records and documentation
  • Collaborate with physicians, dosimetrists, and medical physicists to deliver safe and effective care
  • Uphold radiation safety protocols for patients, staff, and self

    • Requirements

  • ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a Radiation Therapist
